Abstract
Community material for water and digital sustainability in the Brazilian Amazon Rainforest.
The purpose of this material is to provide a guide for water preservation and to inspire sustainable usages of digital technologies through proactive participation and the production of indigenous content. It is a collaborative effort, created as a result from the research "Experiencing digitization through the lenses of Amazonian communities," (2023-2024 by UvA). The material presents a collection of data on homemade, traditional, communal, and scientific techniques for assessing water quantity and quality. Here we discuss how to adapt technologies in the lives of those living in the Lower Amazon Rainforest.
