Abstract In this article, the authors discuss the digital skills of six to 12 years old children in Netherlands. They said that children must have digital skills for them to be able to search for ways to be conservative in online communication. They cited benefits of online gaming such as educating children on basic navigation skills, and enhancing hand-eye coordination. They noted skills that can be developed in children through Internet including search strategy, reading skills, and assessment skills..
