| Abstract |
Ten new species and two new genera of Lithosiinae (Lepidoptera: Arctiidae) are being
described from Papua Indonesia (West New Guinea) and related species from Papua are reviewed. The new genera are Emelieana gen.nov. and Micronyctemera gen.nov. The new species are Trischalis splendens nov.sp., T. purpurastriata nov.sp., T. zahrae nov.sp., Emelieana aureolineata nov.sp., Notata zumkehri nov.sp., Micronyctemera fojaensis nov.sp., Acco postmetallica nov.sp., A. albipuncta nov.sp., A. fasciata nov.sp. and Scoliacma flava nov.sp. Trischalis iridescens orientalis ROTHSCHILD, 1913 syn.nov. is synonymized with Trischalis iridescens iridescens ROTHSCHILD, 1913. The adults and genitalia are depicted. |
