Abstract Description of a new species of stygobitic Cyathura based on one female specimen from a cave in the state San Luis Potosí of Mexico. The new species is the second subterranean Anthurid Isopod known from Mexico, being closely related to C. sbordonii described from a cave in the Mexican state Veracruz, as wel as to C. specus, described from a Cuban cave.
