Maandag 27 januari 2020, International Holocaust Remembrance Day. Een toerist maakt in het Anne Frank Huis een foto van Anne’s kamer en plaatst die vervolgens op Instagram. Heeft zij nu een herinnering gecreëerd? Voor wie? En aan wat? Aan Annes leven in de onderduik, of aan haar eigen aanwezigheid op een authentieke, historische plek? Yra van Dijk en David Duindam gaan in recente wetenschappelijke publicaties op zoek naar antwoorden op de vraag hoe herinnering digitaal wordt geherdefinieerd.
