A treatment protocol for panic disorder with agoraphobia by Internet is described and illustrated with a case study. Treatment components are Awareness, Cognitive restructuring, Interoceptive Exposure, Exposure in vivo and Relapse prevention. All treatment components are administered by e-mail. This mode of treatment appears to be effective for panic disorder with agoraphobia. After the treatment the patient no longer reported panic attacks or avoidance behaviour. At 1-year follow-up panic disorder and agoraphobia were in full remission.
