Abstract Diese Lektüre vom 2. Makkabäerbuch fokussiert Raum als Instrument der Erzählerin / des Erzählers um die Erzählung zu artikulieren. Insbesondere werden jene Abschnitte des Buches analysiert, worin die Körper der wichtigsten Figuren im Rampenlicht stehen.

This narratological reading of 2 Maccabees focuses on space as a tool of the narrator to tell his story. Special attention will receive those sections of the narrative that highlight bodies of the main characters as a focal point of space.
