Abstract A model that analyzes resemblances of 90 twin pairs (aged 14-20 yrs) and their parents using LISREL is outlined and applied to sports participation and heart-rate data. Results show that genetic factors influenced variation in both sports behavior and heart rate; there was no evidence for transmission from parental environment to offspring environment
