| Abstract | The main result of [2] (C.Ciliberto, G.van der Geer: Andreotti-Mayer Loci and the Schottky problem. {\sl Documenta Math. \bf 13} (2008), 389--440) is based on a proposition whose proof is incorrect. We therefore give an alternative proof of the main result of [2]. |
