| Abstract |
The views of de Sade on anal sexuality, of Ulrichs on effeminacy and of «Der Eigene» on pederasty preceed the ideology of the contemporary gay movement but starkly differ from that perspective because they give prominence to themes that are nowadays decried as being ‹prejudicial›. The author discusses the meaning of these transgressions of se-xual, gender and age themes and wonders about the rigidity of modern articulations of ‹straight acting gays›.
