| Abstract |
ABSTRACT Protolithosia roseivenata Röber, 1925, currently placed in the Arctiidae, Lithosiinae, is found to be conspecific with Ethopia roseilineata Walker, [1865] (Pyralidae, Galleriinae). Accordingly, Protolithosia Röber, 1925,is synonymized with Ethopia Walker, [1865] (syn. n.) and Protolithosia roseivenata Röber, 1925, is synonymized with Ethopia roseilineata Walker, [1865] (syn. n.). The delegation of the genus (and species) to the Pyralidae Galleriinae is confirmed. The imagines and genitalia are depicted and a distribution map is given. |
