Wachmann John Demjanjuk staat terecht op beschuldiging van medeplichtigheid bij de moord in het vernietigingskamp Sobibor. Bij deze strafzaak gaat het om drie hoofdvragen. Ten eerste: was Demjanjuk in Sobibor? Vervolgens: als hij daar was, laat zijn handelen zich dan kwalificeren als medeplichtigheid bij moord? En ten slotte: was het mogelijk voor Trawniki-mannen om uit Sobibor te deserteren?
