| Abstract |
On 13 January 2012 Ivo Schöffer died. Schöffer was a member of the editorial board of Tijdschrift voor Geschiedenis between 1965-74 and 1982-6 and acted as secretary for the greater part of those years. In recognition of his services to the journal he was elected honorary member of the editorial board in 1987. Hans Blom looks back on the life and work of Schöffer and assesses his impact on the historical profession in the Netherlands. |
