Abstract This report presents the results of the country study on Spain from the project CODEBAR: Comparisons in Decentralised Bargaining: towards new relations between trade unions and works councils, which is co-financed by the European Commission (Industrial Relations and Social Dialogue Programme; project reference: VS/2020/0111). In this project, the research team studies the backgrounds, practices and effects of decentralised bargaining in eight EU Member States, namely: France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Ireland, Poland and Sweden.
