Description
Discrete water samples were collected opportunistically, 0.5–1 m above cement block with the loggers, in both dry and wet seasons on multiple days to determine seawater carbonate chemistry (via total alkalinity and pH) . Total alkalinity was analysed using potentiometric titration on a Metrohm 716 DMS Titrino (Herisau, Switzerland). Seawater pCO2 and aragonite saturation state (Ωarag) were calculated from in situ pHT, temperature, salinity, and total alkalinity using the Carb function (flag = 8) in the seacarb package (Gattuso et al., 2024)(version = 3.2.14) in RStudio Version 2021.09.0 (RStudio Team, 2021) and R Version 4.1.2 (R Core Team, 2022).
