The Last Editorial: Tribulations and Solace in International Economic Law

After five, respectively ten, years at the helm of The Journal of World Investment & Trade (JWIT), it is time to pass on the baton. With the next issue, Joanna Lam and Julien Chaisse will take over responsibility for the journal that we have had the privilege of curating for the past decade. We wish them success and the wealth of support we were able to enjoy. We do not want to leave the stage, however, without some reflections on what it has meant to curate a journal in international economic law, the import, but also the challenges this entails, and without expressing our gratitude to all those who supported us along the way.
