Abstract Chiral tetrahedral carbon atoms bearing functional groups amenable to functionalization offer numerous synthetic opportunities. Catalysed by copper pyridine-bis(oxazoline) complexes, the developed alkynylallylic substitution provides 3-substituted 1,4-enynes with excellent regio- and stereocontrol.
