| Abstract |
De Dynamische Theoriegestuurde Profielinterpretatie (DTP) is een veel toegepaste psychodiagnostische procedure die pretendeert therapiesucces te voorspellen. Patricia van Oppen c.s. nemen vier studies die het predictief vermogen van de DTP toetsen kritisch onder de loep. Tien hypotheses werden getoetst. Vijf maal werd er geen steun gevonden, twee keer wel en bij drie hypotheses waren de data precies het omgekeerde van het voorspelde verband. Conclusie: de DTP maakt de pretenties niet waar en is niet in staat behandeluitkomsten te voorspellen.
