Abstract Electronic tables belong to table 3 of the paper. As described in the paper, all lines that have been fit to obtain the radial-velocity curve of SMC X-1, LMC X-4 and Cen X-3, are published as online material at CDS. Each table contains the orbital phase, the velocity, error on the velocity, the full width at half maximum, error on the full width at half maximum, the flux and error on the flux. Errors indicate 1 sigma. (4 data files).
